About us
DONNE FOR PEACE is a volunteer association, founded by 7 women but
open to all people of goodwill who are willing to share its goals and
commit to serving those fleeing from war.
It was born in response to the humanitarian emergency triggered by
the crisis in Ukraine. The founders of the association come from diverse
backgrounds, nationalities, and political beliefs. They are originally from
the countries involved in the conflict and have become naturalized
Italian citizens, united by a deep concern for the fragility of peace in the
world.
At the heart of the association’s mission is the future of refugees—
through both integration and inclusion in the host society, and the
strengthening of skills that will be useful for their return to the Country of origin.
